September 30th

Sure it's 90 degrees out, but it's not October yet, so...yeah no, it's too warm. Luckily the temperature both here and abroad is going to dip just before I leave, so I can actually pack the autumnal clothes that I was planning on.

Am I having stress dreams? Are they travel relatedly? Oddly enough, no they are not, it seems. Apparently I only have travel stress dreams when I'm stressed about other things, but then when I have real-life travel stress my dreams give me a break. Thanks for that.

September 29th

I cleaned a lot today! Like, I also slept a lot. But then I was productive! I am totally having trip anxiety though. How does one sleep before a trip like this? I feel like I’m not going to have enough room for the stuff I want to bring. And I don’t like planes. Ugh. It’ll all be okay.

September 28th

Today was fun! I played some Pokémon Go, then went to the art museum and went bowling! That’s some good fun weekend stuff. I like art museums! I really like discovering new art. Plus I can think of this as prep for Museumsinsel day in Berlin. Bowling was great too, even though I am not super good at it. It’s a good time though! I’ve said good a lot today. It was a good day.

Gonna play some PoGo this weekend and clean the house. Also get everything as ready as I can for my trip. The anxiety is finally hitting me! I’m excited though.

September 26th

Today was pretty chill. Not much to report today. I did get some stuff from ModCloth though, and that’s always exciting. I like clearance-priced swimsuits.

Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday though.

September 25th

Less dental pain today, but I still can’t open my mouth all the way. But I’m definitely feeling better thankfully.

I hung out with a coworker after work and we watched the Lil Bub documentary from a few years ago and ate tacos. I also met her cats and we went for a walk. How nice is that? Just a good wholesome evening.

September 24th

I guess work was kinda okay today. But let’s be honest. The dentist sucked. I needed extra shots to get numb enough. My jaw hurt from being open so much. (Tbh it still hurts.) I felt like I couldn’t swallow or breathe, and because of how numb I was, that didn’t go away for several hours after I left. I was just like...freaking out, dissociating...having a bad time. And now I’m sore. I’m very glad to be done with that, and I am never doing that without sedation again.

Tomorrow will be better. 

September 23rd

What a Monday! I was super sleepy this morning and it was grey and rainy. But then the weather got nice and sunny! And I looked cute today. So there.

Dentist tomorrow! My appointment is at 2:30. Tooth-hurty. Har har har.

September 22nd

Well, I caught some Tepig today. Walked around a lot. Apparently it’s supposed to rain again tomorrow which is kind of a bummer - I want slightly cooler weather but still sunshine, ya know?

I don’t even know what I’m doing this week! Other than work. Oh...I do have to go to the dentist. Maaan.

September 21st

Y'all ever nap all day because it's raining? Yeah same.

I did get some groceries and did some laundry though. Oh, and I got my hair done! Why did I forget that was today? I'm all over the place.

The travel stress dreams have commenced. My trip is soon. I'm so excited.

September 20th

Today was a sleepy day! And I wore a cozy perfume and it made me even sleepier. Now I’m in bed with Cas because he is a primo cuddle buddy.

Did Pigeon learn how to get to the shelf above my washer and dryer? Yes, yes she did.

September 19th

Happy birthday to my dad! Happy day to me! I am eating a Rice Krispies bar in bed. This is my Thursday night.

A long week calls for a good weekend but I’m not yet sure what I’m doing. I mean I already went to the zoo this week. Maybe the Renaissance festival? Is that still going on? Maybe eating some yummy food?

September 18th

Work was a little slow and involved a lot of coughing today, but I made it through. Tonight was pretty much just napping and a shower. Watched some YouTube videos. Hung out with the cats. Pretty typical Wednesday night I guess.

Tomorrow I’m hanging out with a coworker friend after work and we’re gonna watch the Lil Bub movie! Also I get to meet her cats which is exciting. Hopefully it’s an easy workday.

September 17th

I went to the zoo today! I’m still sniffly and I have a bit of a sore throat, but getting out of the house really helped. Plus I saw some real cuties like Tasmanian devils. Those little guys are great.

Back to work tomorrow! I hope the rest of the week is easy.

September 16th

It’s finally Unova time in Pokémon Go! And my ass got two shiny friends today.

Anyway, I have a cold. It is not, in fact, allergies. So I’m having a restful evening.

September 15th

Consider: Pokémon Go Community with so...many...shiny...Turtwig. I got ten of them! I love them all!

I am still ultra sniffly. It is incredibly annoying. Gonna try a hot shower again, hopefully that helps.

September 14th

Brad and I played a new board game tonight! It’s called Planet and it’s super fun.

I got to meet some cute puppies today! Including a schnoodle and a shiba inu! The schnoodle was really cuddly. I want a dog! But I also love my cutie kitties.

My allergies are a mess right now. I am a sniffly, snotty lady.

September 13th

I have some sort of pulled muscle or pinched nerve or whatever in my upper left arm/shoulder and it is painful and annoying.

Cas did well at the vet today! He has some antibiotics to take, but he should be back to normal soon. I feel bad for him though, poor guy. He's a little more lethargic than usual but he seems to be okay. I gotta give him extra kisses!

September 12th

Well, Cas is going to the vet tomorrow morning. He's got a UTI. He seems to go longer and longer between getting them, but I wish the urinary health food he ate was enough to just keep him healthy all the time. But I'm also glad that I know what to do and what to expect when he gets an infection. (Answer: don't go to the emergency vet unless paying many hundreds of dollars is an option.)

I think I'm going to just have a chill night and watch some Chrono Trigger before bed.

September 11th

Bought some pants. Ate a nice sandwich at Jason's Deli. Got some shiny friends in Pokémon Go.

I am sleepy. But today was pretty all right. Not too much to report!

I thought it was Wednesday today! Whoops!

I have new glasses! They are basically coke bottle glasses but from what I can tell they’re better than my last pair, so I’m pretty pleased.

September 9th

These new meds are really giving me a weird stomach. I was pretty cranky and sore today at work. Also I slept weird on my arm and my shoulder hurts.

I’m watching some travel vlogs! I have pretty much everything booked now - I booked my Rome tours and all of my train tickets! I am broke and happy.

September 8th

Hi all! My new meds (Buspar) may have made me feel a bit off and odd today. I was so sleepy and I just felt...nothing? I didn’t feel tired, but I cared so little about getting out of bed that I just...didn’t. Like until 3 pm or something. Hopefully this is just temporary starting-off sort of stuff. This stuff is supposed to help my anxiety so I can understand that there may be some sedative-like effects. But I don’t want to be in some anhedonia bullshit either, so we’ll just have to see how things go! Fingers crossed!

September 7th

In one month I’ll be in France! Holy shit!

Today was a lot of sleeping. Then I returned a few things. And now I’m sleepy again.

Plans for tomorrow still TBD, but I did briefly get to see my mom and her husband Tom today which was really nice.

September 6th

Please excuse the technical hiccup - my original post from September 5th seems to either not have gone through. So here's a less exciting replacement post instead! I am fairly certain I remember blogging last night but now that I don't see my post, my brain is like "maybe you did forget!" even though just this week I've been thinking about the blog more often than usual. So I guess I'm ultimately not sure. But also, that's okay. Like I said, I'm pretty sure I did write up a post. And mobile posting is not always the most...technically advanced, so I wouldn't be surprised if I closed the window before it finished posting and the whole thing just got eaten by Blogger. Ah well.

Update: I reloaded the Blogger homepage, and lo and behold, my post from yesterday is there. I am incredibly confused but also glad that I didn't forget to blog.

Anyway, I finished my final paper for psych class! I sure hope I did all of the APA formatting correctly. That's one of the trickiest parts, honestly.

Also, I had a very sleepy day but I'm glad to be able to enjoy the weekend ahead. My glasses are ready to be picked up, so I think I'll do that tomorrow!

September 5th

My psych appointment went really well! I’m so excited! She was really friendly and helpful, and I’m looking forward to having her as my psych doctor.

Also I got Starbucks, and ALSO I finished my final paper for my psych class. I need to reread it tomorrow, but it’s basically done and I’m super relieved and pretty proud of myself too!

September 4th

I spent too much money at Ulta! I do plan on returning one or two things, but I did actually need a few things. Like a travel hairbrush! I’m also trying to figure out under eye concealer and mascara and setting powder because my makeup has been whack lately.

I have a psych appointment at a new place tomorrow! I hope it goes well.

I had some pineapple upside down cake cheesecake today. It was good.

September 3rd

I did it y’all, I went to the dentist! I have a sore mouth but I am okay!

September 2nd

Today was a pretty chill day! Dinner was a little subpar (Max & Erma's), but otherwise things were good! I cleaned and got a new furnace filter and also cried laughing watching Jenna Marbles' dogs in content aware scale so like...it was a good evening. Not super keen on getting up early tomorrow, but I'm glad to have have a long weekend!

September 1st

Well, today was rainy. But I did visit a cat shelter and play some Pokémon Go. And I had ice cream.

Tomorrow is a holiday so no work. And I don’t really have any plans, either. I guess I’ll clean around the house. (It’s supposed to be rainy.) But hey, long weekend!
