Man, I just watched a really weird and disjointed documentary about scent. Or perfumery. Or something. It finished and Netflix did that thing where it's like, thumbs up or thumbs down? And I dunno. My reaction about the credits rolling was, "Huh. Okay. Uh huh." I guess I learned a few things intermittently, but it was also just like...an hour and a half of people talking about scent. In the broadest sense of the word. Also there was an Italian truffle hunter. I'm not really sure about it all. I guess it was good? Maybe? If you want to watch it, it's called Empire of Scents. Also, if you do have any recommendations for documentaries, scent-related or otherwise, I'd love to hear them.
