March 18th

I had my longest shift yet at work today! It actually went pretty well though. I had time to eat, and we weren't too busy, although near the end we did get a lot of phone calls. I'm getting a lot better on the phones though! Thank goodness!

Perfume of the Day: Very Hollywood by Michael Kors
Notes include gardenia, jasmine, raspberry, mandarin orange, ylang-ylang, vetiver, and bergamot.

I love this perfume. It's one of my favorites, because it is the epitome of a casual, girly perfume without being boring. As you may know, I have a thing for white florals, but this scent is unique from my other white floral favorite (Burberry's London) in that it is a very dry scent. It's crisp, clean, and almost powdery - yet still retains that bubblegum sweetness of white florals as well as hints of fruit. Very Hollywood is secure like Velcro. London is free-flowing like shoelaces. I find it just as easy to curl up with this one and feel warm and happy and cozy as I do with London. They are both beautiful and soft and charming in their own right. That's why I love them both so much.
