Every single year, April seems to be the month that has the biggest impact on my life. I wonder why that is?

I went to the zoo today! I met lots of animals and it was fun and here is me and my giraffe friend.

I also dyed my hair today! I'll post a review of the dye tomorrow. Overall it was a much better experience than last time!

I'm going to go to the reptile show if they don't use my call-in tomorrow, I've decided. I like reptiles.

April 25th

As I've said, John Freida hair dye is obscenely expensive, so I'm trying to find a replacement. I did a review awhile ago on the last hair dye that I tried, and it was awful. My roots are starting to show, so I picked up a new hair dye today! It's Vidal Sassoon in Medium Vibrant Red. I'm excited to try it out!

Aside from perfume, the other product I compulsively love to buy is lipstick. Those two things are my favorite accessories. Today I bought three more lipsticks...oops.

It's snowing. I am genuinely upset.

Eoin and I started watching The Search for Christopher Robin today. I don't know if any of you reading this saw that movie as a child, but it's a good one. Really, really sweet.

I have been tired all day, and I don't know why. I slept well and everything. My stupid brain is messing with me.

April 23rd

I rewatched Game of Thrones with my mom tonight, and she adored it. She's a big fan of Dany. I also got to Skype (and Google Hangout) with Lexa tonight! Best Tuesday night ever! I'm really craving potato salad though, as I had some at dinner, but I had the last of it. It was really good, too.

April 22nd

The PR person (people?) who run the Gillette Venus Twitter account has been an absolute sweetheart to me today. I knew I liked Gillette razors for a reason.

I ate Wendy's for dinner. Now I am remembering why I don't usually like to get fast food. I feel like I'm full forever, and all I had was a chicken sandwich, which is just bread, chicken and lettuce. How does that work? Maybe it was the ten french fries I ate. Hrrrrk.

Eoin and I are total pros at geography. ...Really, we knew like 50% of the countries in Africa. We're basically geniuses.

April 21st

Hello friends! I'm blogging early tonight because I'm really tired, and will probably go to bed right after Game of Thrones. I woke up around 5:00 this morning shaking and feeling really nauseous, so my sleep schedule has been rather disturbed. Luckily Dramamine and Pepto Bismol are things that exist, so my stomach calmed down within about an hour and a half, and I got to sleep a little more. But now I'm tired again! Hmph!

Tonight's Game of Thrones episode is going to be the one that decides for me if the writers can redeem themselves after two seasons of shitty, incomplete Sandor character development. Fingers crossed.

April 20th

My sleep schedule is messed up, and I keep having extremely bizarre dreams.

I'm debating between watching the newest Lucahjin livestream video and watching Inglorious Basterds. I'm going to do both eventually, but I don't know which one to do now. Lucahjin will probably prevail.

I got to talk with Eoin and Dana today, which was lovely. I have amazing people in my life. I am very thankful for that.

Game of Thrones is already blowing my mind and it doesn't even air til tomorrow night. Oh Sandor, please be perfect. I hope the writers have done you justice.

Sometimes you get to watch your favorite movie with your favorite person and the world is just bright and happy and you feel like you're floating.

Sometimes this is followed by a massive snowstorm in the middle of April.

April 15th

Today was really good, then really good again, then really bad, and now really good once more!

So...raise your hand if you liked last night's Game of Thrones episode! In all seriousness though, I think it was a fantastic episode. And next week's looks like it'll be amazing as well, so I'm very excited! I really hope they keep the Sandor vs. Beric fight true to the books.

April 14th

Hooray for not having to work today! The weather was absolutely disgusting, so it was nice to not have to drive through it.

I am mentally preparing to watch Game of Thrones. Body parts shall be lost! I shall be emotional!

I have my dialect class tomorrow, plus my Monday Skype date with Eoin! Hopefully the weather eases up a bit for my drive downtown.

April 13th

Today has been so, so fun so far! Despite Skype being absolutely fussy, Eoin and I talked for nearly four hours, and it was delightful! We didn't get to finish Misfits, but we managed to keep ourselves busy!

And Lexa and I are Skyping soon! I am really, really excited to discuss last week's episode of Game of Thrones, and its high and low points.

Tomorrow: Maybe work. It's a call-in. I'm hoping to stay home and sleep!

I got to watch Game of Thrones with my mom tonight! She hates Joffrey even more than I do!

Skype date with Eoin tomorrow! We're going to watch Misfits and be fabulous.

Hello friends! I still haven't watched Doctor Who, and I'm quite sleepy! It may have to wait!

I bought a pair of $185 boots for $23 at DSW. I am a happy girl.

April 10th

A new gif from the Catching Fire trailer was released and Peeta has a cane and I am pleased about this.

I had to go all the way to Walgreens today! (Which is not actually very far away, by the way.) I was feeling especially sad about Darcy eating my new lipstick, and how I couldn't find it at Target, so I explored Walgreens and found it! ...and another color of the same lipstick, which I also bought! Oops! I'm trying so hard to be good with my spending, and I have been doing really well, but lipstick is such a vice for me.

I still need to watch the newest Doctor Who. I might do that tonight.

April 9th

I had another moment of brief, random lightheadedness. This is a thing that needs to stop, please.

I bought a really, really lovely dress from Forever 21! I also found out my Secret Reward card from Victoria's Secret had a whopping $75 on it, so I also acquired a zip-up hoodie and some Tease Please body mist. (It's a woody bergamot scent...yum.) I'm also going shopping for curtains with my dad tomorrow! My room at his house is getting a little facelift.

I'm sleepy already. I think it might be an early night tonight.

April 8th

Game of Thrones was so good last night! I loved seeing Arya and sandor and Brienne and Jaime. And I am so, so utterly excited for next week. I haven't watched Doctor Who yet, though!

My dialect class went really well! I feel like I'm genuinely learning, which is the best thing you can hope for, really. There are five other students, and they all seem like cool people. The instructor is brilliant! Her English accent is spot on.

April 7th

Skype date again tomorrow! Eoin and I are going to watch the first Pokémon movie. I've also got my first class at the Guthrie tomorrow. I can't think of a better way to spend my Monday!

I'm about to rewatch last week's Game of Thrones episode with my mom, and then watch tonight's new episode. Yay!

April 6th

Three months until my birthday!

Within the past ten minutes I've been feeling weirdly lightheaded. I also had some seriously crazy deja vu. I feel like a panic attack is imminent. Time to listen to Game of Owns and try to calm the fuck down.

April 5th

I want to play Portal 2 very badly right now. Please? Except first, Advil. Because I have a persistent headache and that's not okay.

Skype date tomorrow! Also, house cleaning. I swear, if my dad tries to disrupt this by saying I need to clean more, I will be very cross. I have all evening to clean!

Hello friends! I was all sick and stuff today, and I don't know why. I think it might be something that's going around at work, as germs do tend to spread quite rapidly there. I've only got a call-in tomorrow and Friday, so there's a possibility (albeit slim) that I won't work again until Sunday! I'd really like to have tomorrow off, though. For recuperating, and for Skype dates!

April 2nd

It's MINI REVIEW TIME!

Doctor Who:

Well, it was better than I expected! Considering the abysmal nature of the last premiere (Asylum of the Daleks), I was expecting something equally as bad. Luckily, this was better! It wasn't great my any means - it was peppered with the usual Casual Moffat Sexism and Clara was predictably snarky/clever/et al...but it wasn't so bad. The "monster" was relevant, and the episode was well-acted.

Game of Thrones:

Holy setup, Batman! This episode was so, so much setup. But it was all important, and the entire cast is fantastic, so it was good, albeit slow. I did absolutely adore the scene between Tywin and Tyrion, though. Despite the occasional deviation from the book thrown in for effect, it was a great episode. I think it was necessary for what's coming, which is lots and lots of death and love and drama and dismemberment!

April 1st

I really thought hard about making an April Fool's prank post, but everything seemed too predictable. Sorry! I'm also a little distracted by my dear friend Eoin at the moment!
