So last night, I took it upon myself to reread the first Hunger Games book. After all the casting that has been going on, I wanted to read it and have the actors in my mind. I'm pleased to say that I have found Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson to be very satisfactory choices for Katniss and Peeta. However, I'm not too excited about Liam Hemsworth for Gale just yet - Liam seems much to big and bulky for someone who is starving. Anyway, I'd really like to find time to reread Catching Fire and Mockingjay as well, but time is limited for a college student with much homework to do!
The special Snapple Amazing Race iced tea is actually amazing. I normally don't liked iced tea, but Brennie and I bought a pack of it last night and I'm sure glad we did. We also watched Holes last night, which was brilliant. I adore that movie just as much as I did when it first came out. (I saw it four or five times in theaters.) Khleo Thomas was such a little cutie back then! And my outstanding girl-crush Sigourney Weaver was brilliant as usual.
