March 2nd - Already?

I can't believe how fast time flies sometimes. You spend all of January thinking about how long it is until Spring, and how slowly the month is progressing, and then all of a sudden February goes by before you get a chance to welcome it and you're already into March. It is 83 days until the last day of school. It is 126 days until I turn 19, which is scary because I still feel very much like I'm 18. And then I'll be 20 - God knows I'm not ready for that. 20 is old. 20 means you're not a teenager anymore. Most of my memories in life are from me being a teenager. People get married in their 20's. And graduate college, and get jobs. I can't wait for summer, where the pace of the world seems to slow down and you feel like you have a lot more time on your hands. (And homework isn't taking up your time.)

I want to begin looking more deeply into study abroad opportunities. I found a really amazing program in Thailand that I'm considering, but I would also very much like to go to Europe, because there are so many places in Europe that I want to visit. I think Thailand would be more exciting culturally and really open up my eyes more to the world...but at what other point in my life could I spend 6 months in Europe? I think I might look into Thailand (or somewhere similar) as a J-term option and study somewhere in Europe (probably in Great Britain) for a semester. I'm excited to go abroad regardless though, since I've only been abroad twice - well, once was to Canada when I was like three years old, and only for a few hours, so that hardly counts. I did go to Jamaica though, which was very awesome. So, let's see what the future has in store, shall we?

  1. AHH I HATE YOU AND YOUR SCHOOL.
Not really. I love you and your school. I wish I had the opportunity to study abroad in two places! I can't even go abroad because of my major =[ lameee we'll just have adventures together post-grad!

I was just thinking the same thing the other day! I can't wait until summer and get to actually enjoy my life!
