March 31st

Today was a lazy Sunday. I literally hung out at home all day. There was napping involved. Now I feel a bit restless and anxious, and my dinner also wasn’t that great, so I’m just kind of antsy in bed. But whale shark is here.

March 30th

Well, time to play some Ultra Despair Girls! This game is silly. It’s such a huge departure from the other games in the series. It’s supposed to — it’s a spin-off, after all. But it’s so different. I’m still trying to wrap my head around it.

Also I have a couch now.

March 29th

Sleepy day...not as productive as I wanted. But Brad and I are gonna finish Danganronpa 2! Yay!

March 28th

I did not go to hockey today. I slept. Because last night a crying Pigeon was shut in the bathroom to prevent any poop accidents and she meowed and rattled the door all night. So I didn’t sleep much.

But tomorrow should be a chill day. I need to get a biometric wellness exam for the wellness program at work, and I’ve put it off til pretty much the last day because I didn’t want to miss work AND because I have to fast for it. Neither of these thing appeal to me. But I’m doing it!

March 27th

I meant to go to sleep earlier! Oops! 

It feels like tomorrow is Friday. I wish it was. What a week!

March 26th

Today was a sleepy day! My corner of the office got really toasty and everyone near me was getting cozy. We need nap time st work. Though I’m not disciplined enough to start working again after my nap, probably.

I gotta pluck my eyebrows!

March 25th

Today was kinda uneventful. But I did go to Easton with Brad, and we played some more Danganronpa 2...which is getting super good. Other than that though, just a chill evening with the cats. Man, I love cats.

March 24th

Lalibela is here, perfume collection is rearranged, everything looks so pretty!

Pigeon’s vet visit went well too! She was really good!

March 23rd

Brad and I are playing Danganronpa 2! We’re both doing pretty well, too. It’s a good trial this time.

Also I somehow hurt my hip yesterday, so sitting and standing and laying down all have their unique pains. This also meant that I didn’t do Community Day, but I got lucky and found a shiny Treecko at my apartment!

March 22nd

Other than Pigeon not adjusting to her new food that well, today has been good! I went to Cap City for dinner, work was chill (even though I forgot my phone at home, oops), and I went to Target! Now I'm just chilling and watching some YouTube. I'm glad it's the weekend.

March 21st

So I’ve started playing Two Dots again. I just got to a mechanic that I’m not super fond of...at all. So that’s unfortunate. But I’ve cleared over 1000 levels, which is crazy! In the time I took off almost another 1000 were made though...I don’t know if I’ll ever catch up. I hope so. I definitely spent a little money on power ups.

I have two cats and it’s nice.

March 20th

The cats are doing well and I bought Lalibela at a huge discount. I am gonna smell so good.

March 19th

The cats are doing well, I’m less exhausted than yesterday, and I went to an EX raid in Pokémon Go. Not a bad Tuesday.

March 18th

I am exhausted. I got so little sleep, and I woke up dissociating as well. Work was slow. I almost went home and napped on my lunch break. Then I had a hair appointment downtown just after 6, which didn't give me enough time to go home in between...so I just got home about 20 minutes ago. But my hair is pink, so that's different.

March 17th

What a nice Sunday! I had spaghetti! Pigeon is settling in pretty well. Cas seems to be doing well too! They’re both a little unsure of each other but no one is being mean. Cas likes to sit outside the bathroom door (where Pigeon is living) and just chill.

March 16th

Today I drove an hour north to visit someone I found on Craigslist who had a cat for sale! You know, like when I found Cas on Craigslist! But this was a little grey girl...and I brought her home! Her name is Pigeon and I love her!

March 15th

Happy Friday! I was super sleepy all day at work today. I've been sleepy all week, really. I don't know how to fix that. I think DST really did me weird.

Gonna dig through my belongings and find all of my Barnes and Noble gift cards. I have one on my desk and I know there are more around here. I wanna buy some stuff.

March 14th

So anyway I think I'm allergic to lavender. I got a rash all along my cheek and chin and jawbone. It's still there a little bit too. No more lavender berry ice cream for me.

Tomorrow is Friday though and that's a good feeling. Work should be pretty low key. Hopefully there's less rain than tonight!

March 13th

Just got home and immediately took two Pepto and two Nauzene. A hearty dinner at Fado and I’ve cream from Jeni’s was apparently too much. Im just going to rest tonight.

March 12th

I went to a cat shelter after work today, and then there were two mourning doves on my deck when I got home! So many good animals! I met a good tortie girl named Biscuit. She even let me hold her! I want to hold a hairless cat. They would be so warm...I love warm cats. And all cats.

March 11th

Today was a pretty standard Monday. Work was very typical. I took a nap. I’m doing laundry.

I don’t really know what I’m doing this week. Do I...go to the zoo?

March 10th

The pet expo today was fun! I pet a llama and a skunk and saw a ton of super good cats and dogs! I do wish there were cats available for petting though. Especially the HAIRLESS ONES because I love those little goblins. It's okay, I had a cat show with Cas tonight and he got number one in every category.

March 9th

Pet expo postponed til tomorrow since today I was a sleepy human. It rained all day anyway. But I got chores done, and I did end up taking that nice long shower!

I'm also catching up on YouTube videos still! I'm making progress!

March 8th

TGIF! Tomorrow I'm going to a pet expo! But I'm definitely going to sleep in first. And take a real long shower as well.

Tonight is for catching up on YouTube videos.

March 7th

Poking around for hotels today! In Germany I know where in Frankfurt and Berlin I want to stay. In Rome and Venice...not really. Rome and Venice also have a very different hotel selection. Both have a lot of  “authentically styled” places, which run the gamut in price. Some are genuinely authentic and pretty cool. Some seem...cheap and not as inviting. Venice is proving the most difficult because the city seems the weirdest to navigate AND has so many concentrated tourists.

March 6th

I’m going to Italy and Germany in October. It is honestly a bit surreal. I found airfare for under $650, which compared the usual prices of $1300 for a not-even-that-great flight (read: multiple layovers) is a fantastic deal.

So...any travel tips or advice? I know it’s pretty far in advance but it’s never too early to have travel plans!

March 5th

It is VERY COLD here. I think it was about 6 degrees when I left for work. But I wore red pants today so I looked warm, at least.

I had Mexican for lunch, from a place I’d never been before! I got a chicken burrito. It wasn’t my favorite but it was okay.

March 4th

Today was such a Monday. Cas' wet food fell out of the fridge and on to the floor. I cut my finger on my door handle. I got makeup on my new pants. But I just plucked my eyebrows which was therapeutic. Even though I don't really enjoy seeing my skin up close, having one of those crazy magnifying mirrors is great for doing your eyebrows.

March 3rd

I made a candle today! The scents I ended up combining were olive blossom, peppercorn and absinthe. I think the only trouble is that there’s no way to try different blends of your chosen scents to see how much of each one works the best - you just sort of pour the oils, sniff as you go and hope for the best. I understand why they do that, of course. Fragrance oils can be expensive. Still, this also makes the process go super quick so the whole process last like 15 minutes. Ah well. I do think there is one other set of scents I would like to make into a candle though - I was digging the gourmand vibe of dark chocolate, brandy and brown sugar. Maybe I’ll do that another day...

March 2nd

Vanilla-caramel-pretzel ice cream is a thing I discovered that I like.

Tomorrow I’m going to make a candle! But today...today I slept in. Like a lot. Cas also cleaned my hair while I was sleeping. Thanks, buddy.

Gooood evening and happy March! This week seems like it went by pretty fast actually. I'm going to The Candle Lab this weekend to make a candle, but other than that, no real plans. Which is good! I need a restful Saturday!
