To-watch list: Orphan Black. Seriously, I loved the first season of that and I'm so behind and I need to rewatch the first season too.
Perfume of the Day: Sel Marin by James Heeley
Notes include sea water, salt, seaweed, lemon, bergamot, cedar, and oakmoss.
This is not a bad fragrance. It is oceanic and bright and fresh and crisp. The citrus isn't overpowering, I don't notice a stupid amount of cedar like I sometimes do in scents with cedar, and the aquatic nature is really refreshing and nice. And that's about it. It's a good fragrance. I like it. I would wear it again. However, a bottle of this is $180, which I find ridiculous. As much as I enjoy how simple and well-blended this is, I don't think it merits its price tag. I do like it, don't get me wrong. But I have another ocean-aquatic scent that I love, and would pay for again. This one, I'll be happy to finish my sample, but I think that'll be the end of this scent. If it weren't so expensive I might consider getting a small bottle! I'm looking forward to wearing it again though, since it's one that I actually enjoy and getting more wears out of ones that are good is a great way to test how much you really like the scent.
