Where has July gone? Aside from the last two days, which have gone to me watching the first three Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Those movies are quite good, you know. The production value is really incredible. The plot in the third one is a little messy because everyone is doing different things and betraying everyone and it's a little tangled up, but my god is it epic nonetheless. I'm watching b-roll footage now, which is trippy because it's often them delivering lines from the film but in a different way, from a different take than the one they ended up using, or lines that didn't make it in the final cut. And yes, I've seen the movies enough to notice when the lines have different inflections than the final film. Oops.
