February 28th

Happy end of February! I got a new phone today. My old one (iPhone 4) wasn't holding its charge anymore, and I'd had it since before I started college, so now I have a nice new iPhone 5C! It's a pinky salmon color and I really like it. It was strange rearranging my icons with a whole new row though!

I'm at home with the family this weekend. I hope you guys have a lovely weekend too!

February 27th

Whoa, February is almost over! Where did it go?

I am so exhausted right now. I feel like I could sleep for hours. But I really want to go to the SSA meeting. So I'm going to go even though I still haven't showered and should really be leaving in half an hour...I'll just be (un)fashionably late. Like an adult.

February 26th

I am a sleepy Kate. I might take a nap soon. But for now, I'm talking to Eoin! I also have to watch last night's episode of Face Off soon! I saw a preview on Facebook and it looks intriguing, so I'm excited. This season has had some of my favorite challenges thus far (though nothing will top the Tim Burton challenge from season two), so every episode has been pretty damn good.

February 25th

Hello friends! I'm on my way to Sarah's (surprise), where I will eat cupcakes and watch figure skating.

Someone should probably just give me $1,000. Why not, right?

February 24th

I had a nightmare about missing a job interview. Clearly I'm a little stressed out. I need to go skating and work off some of that nervous energy.

Bunny loving and grocery shopping tonight. Then, readjusting my sleep schedule. This week: interviewing and job hunting! I've applied at quite a few places that really interest me, which is good.

I just spent about 20 minutes untangling three necklaces from each other. I feel much happier and satisfied now that they're free.

February 21st

Today was a little ridiculous, so I'm watching Face Off. The dragon challenge was super cool and some of my favorite people did well so I'm pleased. Fuck drama, dragons are where it's at.

February 20th

Who turned on the snow? Driving was hellish tonight. Lots of drifting and spinning and getting stuck. Also I probably shouldn't have worn heels. Oh well.

I need some mini corn dogs and some sleep.

February 19th

My room looks fucking fantastic. It's completely cleaned and organized and I love it. I don't even know what to do with myself, I just keep staring at it. It's fabulous. I'm fabulous. I want to shop for more organizer-type things. Oh, and I desperately need a way to organize my jewelry.

SSA tomorrow. Kinda meh on the meeting but excited about going to Sarah's afterwards. Also I'm bringing vodka, so...that's a good thing.

This year I'm going to try a Shamrock Shake from McDonald's. I've never had one but they're green and minty and they make me think of Eoin. (Hi Eoin!)

February 18th

Hiya! I rearranged the furniture in my bedroom and hung up some art last night. (Last night=3:00 AM today.) It feels so nice to have a bit of change! I'm going to be sad to move out of this apartment in May, but I really want to live somewhere where I can have a cat. And a tarantula.

I attempted to make mac and cheese tonight. It was kinda meh, but I'm at least sort of making my own stuff and not eating like, Easy Mac.

I have a job interview tomorrow at a place I really want to work!

February 17th

Hello friends! I'm Skyping with my dear friend Lexa. We may or may not be doing what we do nearly every week, which is looking at the ridiculous deals on the Gilly Hicks website. I want my tax returns to come RIGHT NOW.

February 16th

I'm watching figure skating with Sarah! We went skating today and I had a much easier time than when I tried with those hockey skates. And I didn't fall!

February 15th

I've been watching the men's figure skating short program for like four hours now. It's nearly finished though. I still have to watch the team figure skating from a week ago, as well as the men's free program. I'm so behind!

Chaos (the cat who lives here) and I spent some quality cuddle time together today. She's like my reluctant valentine.

I got in a sappy romantic mood and made a Pinterest board for my future wedding. I want a nautical wedding. On a boat or a ship. Not a beach wedding, mind you. None of that light sunny nonsense. I want salty, sea captain nautical.

February 14th

What a week this has been. Happy Valentine's Day, my loves. Since I am three days post break up, I decided to buy myself a Valentine's present. Who needs a boyfriend when your bestie takes you to Olive Garden and then goes with you to buy a pair of figure skates? Used, of course, but I must say that I am a very happy, proud to-be skater. I haven't owned skates since I was little but I go skating every so often...I'm excited to get better though.

Today is a better day. Good company makes me smile. Thank goodness for friends.

Today is less morose, but not entirely happy. Tomorrow is going to be an interesting day, I know that for sure. (To be fair, SSA days are always interesting.)

I've been watching pairs figure skating. It's therapeutic. Maylin and Daniel Wende get my personal gold medal for costumes and music in the free skate.

Sarah and I are going to watch Frozen tonight! Yesterday's events got postponed until tomorrow. We'll see how that goes. Expect possibly morose entries for a few days. I'm not sure. Things are all over the place.

Not much to say today. I'm waiting to hear from someone about tonight. And about some other stuff.
I'm sorry this is so vague, but I don;t need a repeat of April 2010 (I heard Livin' On A Prayer today, at a hockey rink no less) and I'm not in much of a blogging mood anyway.

I mistyped February as "Febray" today. It's one of those days. It is really one of those days. I hope tomorrow is better.

I am a sleepy Kate tonight. It's like Butterfree sprinkles Sleep Powder in my room. Yaaawn.

I might go see a movie with my dad tomorrow, but I have no idea which movie. I don't even know what's out anymore.

So, how about that opening ceremony? ...I'm just excited for figure skating. Maybe some luge. And Shaun White's face. His short hair makes him exceptionally attractive.

I watched the Bill Nye/Ken Ham debate with Patrick and Kjell last night. It wasn't all that good, so the good company was appreciated.

I am inexplicably really sleepy right now. I definitely got a good night's rest last night, so I'm confused by this. As long as I'm bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the SSA meeting tomorrow though, I'll be good.

February 4th

Patrick and I are going to the Bill Nye vs. Ken Ham livestreaming event on campus tonight. I fucking love Bill Nye, you guys. I also love Bill Nighy.

I was so exhausted yesterday that I don't even know what I blogged about. I'm about to go check. Is it total shit? Probably.

I'm rewatching Lucahjin's Paper Mario: TTYD Let's Play. I make good use of my time.

Good evening! I am one sleepy Kate. I'm typing this now, on my phone, because I feel like I'm about to fall asleep at any second.

February 2nd

Happy birthday to my dear friend Patrick! This time last year we went to see a show at the Guthrie, and while we're not doing that this year, we're still going to hang out and have super fun times.

I'm going to take a nice, long nap. I'm going to do so while listening to this. It is exceptionally relaxing and if you're ever having trouble falling asleep, I recommend checking out that YouTube channel. There's loads of different sleep therapy sounds.
