August 20th

So yesterday was kind of amazeballs. I got to hang out with Eoin! In person! We went to Dún Laoghaire, which is a lovely little town just outside of Dublin. And there was a lighthouse! I like those! We walked down this massive pier and explored and got confused trying to find a toilet. We are both slightly navigationally challenged, it seems. We also had a great deal of trouble with the train.

I want to come back to Ireland and spend my time exploring the countryside. I want to go to glens and cliff faces and farms and valleys and fields. I want to go to Cork and kiss the Blarney Stone. I like this country a whole lot, and I'm not ready to leave.

I also went to the library at Trinity College today, which was basically like heaven, except real. It smells like old books and it looks like something out of a story. I am in love with it and I could stay there all day.

Now I have to pack up to leave tomorrow. I wish I had more time here! I want to explore this whole country. So I'll be back someday. :)
