Happy nearly-Halloween!

I spent the evening watch the new episodes of The Amazing Race and Misfits. So...can I go to Malawi please?
Misfits seems to be off to a good start, even without Nathan. I do miss his character terribly though.

I am so freaking hungry. I wish I was at Gustavus, where the caf was open until 11. The cafeteria hours at the school suck so badly.

October 29th

If only I had blogged one more day last year...my 666th consecutive entry would fall on Halloween.
I can't believe it's going to be one day off. How cool would it have been to have those events sync up?
I guess I'll just have to have a satanic November 1st post.

Since I didn't get to go home and have fun this weekend, I spent this evening watching Misfits. The new seasons starts tomorrow and I figured I ought to refresh my memory. I'll all caught up again, so hopefully the new episode tomorrow will be worth it.

You know what's a great money saver? Not buying a Halloween costume.

There is currently something under my roommate's desk that looks like a turd or maybe a mouse. I'm scared to get any closer.

I am absolutely gutted right now because my stupid body had to decide to get sick today, so I couldn't go home for the weekend. (Mind: "Gosh I'm so excited to go home and see my friends and see Paranormal Activity 3 and get my glasses and winter clothes from my dad's house." Body: "I'm gonna make you puuuuuke!" Mind: -cries-)

So, watching Misfits before bed leads to bizarre Misfits-related dreams...that have Robert Sheehan in them, so it's okay.
Oh Robert, your accent. I could listen to it all day. Teach me to be Irish like you.

Sorry for the really awful, pathetic post yesterday, I was super tired! I had a productive day and needed to crash, I guess.

I would really love to play some Portal 2 right about now.

Is it 11:00 yet? I discovered that my roommate's TV has the channel that plays Whose Line and I want to watch it.

I stopped watching South Park a while ago, but Tumblr was freaking out last night because the new episode was good, so I decided to watch it.

I had a lovely time with Brennie yesterday. We watched Oliver & Company and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

I want to go home this weekend. I wish I had a car.

I'm in one of those bad moods where instead of trying to cheer yourself up, you listen to sad music...which is totally not helpful, but sort of feels like you're in a dramatic movie and your music is the soundtrack to this sad scene that's going on.

I really shouldn't be in such a bad mood. I think I'm just being selfish. Ugh.

In better news, Brennie is coming over tonight, and I'm excited about that. We're gonna watch Disney movies!
I hope I don't cry.
I almost cried watching Tarzan the other night. Poor Kerchak.
Weirdly relevant to that: I also had a dream last night wherein I was attacked by gorillas. Too much Tiny Zoo Friends, I think.

I just watched Mulan II. I am thoroughly disappointed. I mean, Mulan is my favorite movie. Mulan II is like a bad fanfiction. It's just not very good at all.

I just watched quite possibly the best episode ever of Never Mind the Buzzcocks. If you've never seen the show, you are a fool and you should look it up on YouTube.

I've always started watching Fry's Planet Word, which is excellent because we all know Stephen Fry is divine.

Hello my lovelies!
I am tired as all get out, let me tell you. I was up until 5 AM today...not intentionally, but you know, sometimes you go to a friend's house and suddenly it's much later than you thought...
Anyway, I'm kind of exhausted now. I took a little nap earlier, but I think I'll go to bed early too. I need to try and fix my sleep schedule before the school week starts.
I did get to watch Tangled again last night though, which was lovely. Such a wonderful movie.

I'm not ready to go back to school. I just want to stay home and read Fellowship of the Ring and not take any tests or write any papers and ahhhh why is Thanksgiving break so far away?

Watching Hank Green play Portal 2. Watching some random German guy play it (in German)is very nearly as cool as watching Hank play it. "ICH BIN EIN KARTOFFEL."

I definitely paid off my "sleep debt" today. Holy crap. I think it really messed up my, like, life schedule though, because now I feel all sick and drowsy. I am not pleased.

On the plus side, I now have the movie 300 on my laptop.

On the down side, upon downloading iOS 5, all of my recent text messages got deleted. I am utterly distraught.

On the plus side, my Bejoined game got reset back to how it was a few days ago, so I get to try for a new high score again.

Down side: This freaking "News Stand" app that I can't get rid of.

Plus side: Volume up button to take a picture? AWWW YEEEAAAH.

I'm blogging from my new bedroom in my dad's house! It's all right, except for the lack of electrical outlets. Also my furniture looks absolutely rubbish with the closet doors, so that's a pity. There's not much wall space for decorations, so maybe I won't go all nautical. There's just not room.

October 11th

Today, I was woken up by my RA coming into my room with a mysterious stranger...my new roommate. I got zero notification that this would be happening, so I was really pissed. I mean, my new roommate seems fine, but it's really unfair to be to just be like, "You have no time to prepare or get the room ready, surprise, here's a roommate!" So that's a bunch of crap.

On the bright side, I'm going home tomorrow! And I'm going to watch Titanic this weekend! So at least I have something to look forward to.

Cross your fingers that my new roommate is nice!

I watched Friends With Benefits last night, and it was actually quite good. I'm usually not a romantic comedy kind of person, but this was well done. JT and Mila Kunis are both really excellent actors, too.

It's my last night at my dad's townhouse! Sob! I took my last shower here (boo, I love the shower here so much), ate my last dinner, and tonight will be my last night in the room! Waaaah! I love this room so much. It's my favorite room I've ever had!

Last weekend in my dad's old house! What am I gonna do with myself? Oh, all the memories from that house! Which is funny, because he's only lived there for about five years, so it's not even my "childhood home," which my mom wants to sell soon...sigh. I'm really excited to see my dad's new house though!

I'm on such a Broadway musical binge right now. Jekyll & Hyde and Phantom especially, because they're scary and Halloween-y. Also Avenue Q...but that's just an awesome musical and Kate Monster is my spirit animal.

Dear fingernails: Grow all at the same speed or something, okay? You're frustrating me.

I am currently enjoying a Cherry Pepsi. It's a bit too fizzy at the moment, but it just tastes so good.

I get really panicky when someone doesn't text me back. I just assume they're mad at me. This has been my life recently.

Moves Like Jagger needs to be banned from the radio. And Party Rock Anthem. They are annoying the hell out of me.

Like I've said, my goal is to watch the entire first season of Pokémon by the end of the year. Well, I'm nearly halfway though! There are 80 episodes total, and I watched the 35th one today. I'm getting there!

I'm in a really Christmas-y mood today. That needs to turn into a Halloween-y mood soon. Also, I'm going to be Evey from V for Vendetta for Halloween! Yay, there are costumes for bald girls!

Today has kind of just been a massive emotional roller coaster. I happen to have amazing friends though, without whom this day would have been terrible. So thanks to those lovely friends of mine - you know who you are.

I have a test tomorrow and I haven't been studying because I've got my mind on other things. I'm doing well in the class, so it's probably okay if I don't do super awesomely on the test, but I don't want to completely suck. There's just too much going on!

If anyone knows of a good distraction from the stuff going on in my life, please feel free to suggest. Movies, activities, anything. Thanks, my lovelies.

So, Doctor Who season finale...not my favorite. There was a lot of hype, and the episode was just okay. So I'm about bit disappointed, though glad some issues got resolved.

I saw Sherlock Holmes last night (the RDJ/Jude Law movie) and I rather enjoyed it! I still like the BBC's modern-day Sherlock show better, though. Oh, Benedict Cumberbatch. You make my heart flutter.

So, I saw 50/50 today...it was really good, but super sad. I won't give any spoilers, but obviously the main guy has cancer, so...yeah. Sad stuff.

I'm going on a walk with Chelsea tomorrow, yay!
